This is a translation for information. The Romanian version is the one that applies.
In short: we only ask for your data if you send us a request for a quote, and we only use it to reply to you. The website does not use cookies and does not track you.
1. Who is responsible for your data
BUILD ONE A.G. SRL, with its registered office at Str. Cavaleru 167C, sat Valea Mare-Podgoria, oraș Ștefănești, jud. Argeș, Romania, registered with the Romanian Trade Register under no. J2014000393039, tax identification code RO32938978.
For any question about personal data, write to us at office@solartraders.ro.
2. The request for a quote
When you fill in the form on the Request a quote page, you send us: the company name, the name of the contact person, the phone number, the e-mail address, the location and capacity of the project, its stage, the services you are interested in and your message.
- Why: to prepare the quote and reply to you. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
- Where it goes: the request is sent to us by e-mail, to office@solartraders.ro, and you receive a confirmation at the address you gave. We do not store it in a database on the website.
- How long we keep it: for as long as the discussion about the quote lasts and, if we end up working together, for as long as the contract and the law require (for example, accounting documents). If we do not end up working together, we delete the request when there is no longer a reason to keep it.
- Who we give it to: no one, apart from the website and e-mail hosting provider (section 4) and cases where the law requires us to.
3. Protecting the form against bots
To avoid fake requests sent automatically, the server accepts at most five requests per hour from the same IP address. For this it keeps a fingerprint of the IP address (not the address itself) and the times of the requests. Fingerprints older than one hour are deleted automatically. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website (Art. 6(1)(f) of the Regulation).
The form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a service that checks whether the request comes from a human. For this, your browser sends technical data to Cloudflare, such as your IP address and browser type. Cloudflare processes it according to its privacy policy.
4. Website hosting and server logs
Like any website, the server automatically records the requests it receives: the IP address, the time, the page requested and the browser type. These are necessary for the website to work and to be protected against attacks (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
The website and the e-mail address are hosted by ROMARG SRL, tax code RO6529540, registered with the Romanian Trade Register under no. J1994000900141, on servers located in Brașov, Romania. The hosting provider acts as a processor: it stores the data on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes. The data stays on servers in the European Union.
The server access log is kept by the hosting provider under the terms of the hosting service; for the exact retention period you may contact ROMARG SRL. The website’s error log, which may contain IP addresses, is under our control and is deleted at least once every six months.
5. What we do NOT do
- We do not set cookies and we do not profile you.
- We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or other tracking tools.
- We do not load anything from other servers: fonts and images are on our own server. The only exception is the Turnstile check in the form, described above.
- We do not sell or rent data to anyone.
6. Your rights
You have the right to ask us what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its use, to object to its processing or to receive it in a form you can take elsewhere. You can write to us at any time at office@solartraders.ro; we will reply within one month at most.
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may contact the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) or the data protection authority in your country.
7. Changes
If the website changes — for example if we add a new service to the form — we update this document as well. The date of the last change is shown at the top.
